Job Summary
Molecules is looking for an IT Administrator to manage the company’s IT systems, employee devices, user accounts, network services and information-security activities.
The candidate should provide timely technical support to employees and maintain proper IT documentation, asset records, backups and access-control procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage employee email accounts and system access.
- Install and configure laptops, desktops, printers and approved software.
- Maintain the IT asset register and asset allocation records.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, email and network issues.
- Manage Wi-Fi, LAN, VPN, firewall and internet connectivity.
- Monitor servers, storage, backups and system availability.
- Perform regular database and application backup checks.
- Support employee onboarding and exit access procedures.
- Maintain user access, password and security policies.
- Install security updates, antivirus tools and operating-system patches.
- Maintain IT SOPs, checklists and technical documentation.
- Handle IT helpdesk tickets and maintain resolution records.
- Coordinate with software, cloud, hosting and internet service providers.
- Support internal audits and information-security reviews.
- Report IT incidents, risks and recurring technical issues.
Required Skills
- Windows desktop and server administration
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration
- Basic networking, DNS, VPN and firewall knowledge
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Backup and restoration processes
- User access and IT asset management
- Basic cybersecurity knowledge
- Good documentation and communication skills
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
